Devport terms
| Term | Plain-English meaning |
|---|---|
| Approved field | A text or image area the developer has made safe for client editing. |
| Draft | A saved change that has not changed the live website yet. |
| Preview | A way to review saved draft changes before publishing. |
| Publish | The action that sends approved changes toward the live website. |
| Deployment | The hosting step that makes a published change visible on the live site. |
| Workspace | The private Devport area connected to a client or website. |
| Client portal | The safe place where clients manage approved updates. |
| Provider | A technical service like hosting, auth, billing, database, or storage. |
| Developer service work | Larger design, code, layout, or feature work handled by the developer. |
